UUCH Community Meal Program has provided a free meal on Ashland St in Haverhill since around 1999. We serve a meal to those who are seeking a warm home cooked meal with fresh ingredients and good company of friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome in our Community Space. Food is served with radical hospitality. Many civic organizations, youth organizations as well as individuals from the church and wider community have volunteered their time from 1pm to 4:30 pm on the first, third and fifth Saturday of the month. Our neighbors, the Calvary Baptist Church on Ashland St serve the meal on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Each meal is prepared for indoor dining or take out. We try to focus on fresh produce and clean ingredients for each meal. A fresh salad as well as fresh fruit is served at every dinner.
